From Epic Pictures’ horror label DREAD and director Jill Gevargizian, known for The Stylist, comes the chilling new film Ghost Game. This week, the official trailer for the movie has been unveiled, generating buzz among horror enthusiasts.
Ghost Game is set for a limited theatrical release on October 18, followed by its debut on Video on Demand (VOD) on October 22.
The indie horror film follows Vin, who discovers his girlfriend Laura’s involvement in an internet challenge that involves living secretly alongside unsuspecting residents. Intrigued, Vin persuades Laura to include him in her next adventure, targeting Halton House—a notoriously haunted manor recently acquired by a new family.
As the thrill-seeking couple explores the manor, they encounter chilling and unexplained phenomena, leading them to realize they are not alone. The new owner of the house spirals into madness, threatening the family and turning their initial thrill-seeking escapade into a deadly game of survival.
The cast includes Kia Dorsey, Zaen Haidar, and Michael C. Williams. The screenplay for Ghost Game was penned by Adam Cesare, known for Last Night at Terrace Lanes and Clown in a Cornfield, with Eduardo Sánchez, famed for The Blair Witch Project, serving as executive producer.
