by Barbara

Lifetime has officially greenlit “A Very Merry Beauty Salon,” the latest original movie featuring Tia Mowry, who also serves as an executive producer. This film marks the conclusion of Mowry’s three-picture deal with the network.

Joining Mowry in the cast are RonReaco Lee, Donna Biscoe, Cocoa Brown, and Ashli Auguillard. The movie centers around the vibrant women of an Atlanta beauty salon, led by Mowry’s character, Sienna. As they prepare for the annual Tinsel Ball, Sienna finds her own romantic prospects taking center stage with the arrival of Lawrence (Lee), a charismatic CEO whose family is co-sponsoring the event.

In “A Very Merry Beauty Salon,” Sienna, owner of the bustling Divine Beauty Salon, is set to be honored for her charitable contributions at the Tinsel Ball. However, her excitement is tempered by concerns from her mother, Georgia (Biscoe), who heads the event’s committee and fears that Lawrence’s involvement could disrupt the event’s traditions. As Sienna and Lawrence are paired as dance partners, their chemistry ignites, challenging Sienna’s views on love and family while promising to make this year’s Tinsel Ball truly unforgettable.

Executive producers include Adam Shepard, Larry Grimaldi, Hannah Pillemer, and Fernando Szew for FES, with Richard Foster and Chet Fenster for GroupM.
