New Voices Join “PAW Patrol 3” Film Cast

The upcoming installment of the successful “PAW Patrol” film series has announced the addition of Jennifer Hudson and comedian Fortune Feimster to its voice cast. Hudson, an Oscar-winning artist, and Feimster, known for her roles in “Fubar” and “The Mindy Project,” join returning star Mckenna Grace, who reprises her lead role as Skye.

Produced by Spin Master Entertainment in collaboration with Nickelodeon Movies, the first two “PAW Patrol” films have collectively grossed over $345 million at the global box office, with Paramount Pictures overseeing their release.

Jennifer Dodge, president of Spin Master Entertainment, expressed enthusiasm about the casting. “Jennifer and Fortune are both exceptional talents, each bringing a global audience of devoted fans. Their addition to the ‘PAW Patrol 3’ cast, alongside Mckenna’s return, will undoubtedly make this film a puptastic adventure for preschoolers and their families around the world.”

Ramsey Naito, president of Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Animation, echoed Dodge’s sentiments, noting that the cast’s energy and creativity will resonate with young audiences and families.

Veteran animation director Cal Brunker will return to direct “PAW Patrol 3,” co-writing the screenplay with Bob Barlen. Executive producers include Dodge, Laura Clunie, Toni Stevens, and Spin Master co-founder Ronnen Harary. The film is set for a theatrical release in 2026, with Elevation Pictures handling distribution in Canada.

Jennifer Hudson, who holds the prestigious EGOT status, is known for her breakout role in “Dreamgirls,” which earned her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She also hosts a daytime talk show and rose to fame as a contestant on “American Idol.”

Fortune Feimster has made a name for herself through successful stand-up specials, including “Good Fortune” and “Sweet and Salty,” earning Critics’ Choice Awards nominations. Recently, she appeared alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in Netflix’s “Fubar” and will voice a character in the upcoming Disney film “Zootopia 2.”

Hudson is represented by CAA, Original Project, and Ziffren Brittenham, while Feimster is represented by UTA, Levity, CESD, and LGNA. Grace’s representation includes CAA, Landrum Arts, Entertainment 360, and Hansen Jacobson.
