The much-anticipated trailer for the upcoming film Porattu Nadakam, starring Saiju Kurup and directed by Noushad Saffron, has officially been released. The trailer debuted on the social media channels of Mammootty Kampany, the production company led by megastar Mammootty, and promises a blend of humor and biting social commentary.
At the heart of the trailer is a calf named Manikutty, who serves as the quirky narrator, introducing both the characters and the film’s premise to viewers. Described as a political satire, Porattu Nadakam aims to reflect the current socio-political climate with a humorous twist. The teaser’s engaging content has already garnered significant attention, hinting at a well-crafted entertainer that tackles pressing social issues.
The film is produced by Vijayan Pallikkara under the banner of Emirates Productions, with the late director Siddique overseeing the project. The screenplay is penned by Suneesh Varanad, acclaimed for his previous works such as Mohanlal and Eesho, and a recent recipient of the 2023 Kerala Sahithya Akademi Award in the best humor category.
In addition to Saiju Kurup, the film features a talented ensemble cast, including Rahul Madhav, Dharmajan Bolgatti, Ramesh Pisharody, Sunil Sugatha, and many others, all contributing significant roles to the narrative.
The film’s production team is rounded out by co-producer Gayathri Vijayan and executive producer Nasar Vengara.
