by Barbara

Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson are set to star in Song Sung Blue, a new film from Focus Features centered on a Neil Diamond tribute band. The project is directed and written by Craig Brewer, known for his work on Dolemite Is My Name. It draws inspiration from the 2008 documentary of the same name, directed by Greg Kohs, which follows two struggling musicians as they establish a tribute band honoring the iconic singer of “Sweet Caroline.”

The cast also includes notable actors Michael Imperioli, Fisher Stevens, and Jim Belushi, alongside rising talents Ella Anderson, King Princess, Mustafa Shakir, and Hudson Hilbert Hensley.
