Paramount Pictures is gearing up for the release of ‘Gladiator II’, a historical action film directed and co-produced by Ridley Scott. This highly anticipated sequel follows the story of Lucius, who finds himself thrust into the brutal world of the Colosseum after his home is seized by the tyrannical emperors ruling Rome. In his quest to reclaim the glory of Rome for its people, Lucius must draw upon his past to find the strength he needs to prevail.
The film features an impressive cast, including Paul Mescal as Lucius, Pedro Pascal as Marcus Acacius, Joseph Quinn portraying Emperor Geta, Denzel Washington as Macrinus, and Fred Hechinger as Emperor Caracalla. Additionally, the cast includes Derek Jacobi as Gracchus, Connie Nielsen reprising her role as Lucilla, alongside Lior Raz and Rory McCann, who plays Tegula.
