Egerton, who has gained fame for his roles in the Kingsman series and his portrayal of Elton John in Rocketman, brings depth to the film. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Egerton shed light on his character’s personal struggles. He described his TSA agent as “unhappy at work” and facing the pressure of becoming a father, as he has just learned his girlfriend is pregnant. “He feels a deep lack of fulfillment,” Egerton explained, setting the stage for his character’s pivotal rise to the challenge when thrust into a life-or-death situation.

Bateman, known for his work in Fool’s Paradise and Air, adds to the thriller’s tension with his menacing portrayal of a calculating adversary.

With its intense storyline, gripping performances, and a talented ensemble cast, Carry-On promises to be a thrilling addition to Netflix’s holiday lineup.
