Harry Potter First Two Films’ Re-release Delayed

The Harry Potter film series continues to captivate audiences with the re-release of the first two films, “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” and “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.” The re-release of these films has been extended, with “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” now set to run until December 10th and “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” until December 17th.

The third film in the series, “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban,” is currently in theaters, and the fourth film, “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,” will be re-released this weekend on November 1st. Fans can look forward to revisiting iconic scenes such as the 9 3/4 platform, the Chamber of Secrets’ basilisk, the Shrieking Shack, and the Triwizard Tournament.

The re-release of the first two films has been a success, with “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” grossing 74.07 million yuan in 18 days, accumulating a total box office of 322 million yuan, and “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” grossing 42.17 million yuan in 11 days, accumulating a total box office of 94.93 million yuan. “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” has been in theaters for four days, grossing 29.74 million yuan and accumulating a total box office of 68.44 million yuan. The re-release of the first three films has already accumulated a total box office of 140 million yuan.
