The first trailer for the “John Wick” spin-off film “Ballerina” has been released. Ana de Armas transforms into a ballerina assassin. She comes for revenge and engages in fierce battles (and has a cordial exchange with John Wick).
The “John Wick” team includes Keanu Reeves, Ian McShane, Anjelica Huston, and the late Lance Reddick. Norman Reedus, Catalina Sandino Moreno, and others have newly joined. Len Wiseman (“Underworld,” “Live Free or Die Hard,” “Swamp Thing”) directs, and Shay Hatten (“John Wick: Chapter 3”) writes the script. The story tells of a young female assassin seeking revenge after her family is killed. It will be released in North America on June 6 next year.
