The movie “Sunset Sunrise” has unveiled numerous stills. Based on a novel, it’s a comedy about relocation. Starring Suda Masaki, it follows his character’s move to a new town. At the Tokyo International Film Festival premiere, Suda revealed he gained 7kg due to delicious food on set. The film is set to hit Japanese screens on January 17, 2025.
The story is set in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown. Shinnosuke, played by Suda Masaki, a Tokyo white-collar worker and fishing enthusiast, discovers a great house in Sanriku Town. As an outsider, he gradually integrates into the local community with his positive personality. The film promises heartwarming moments and a touch of humor.
