“Trap City” Set to Debut in Theaters and VOD This December

“Trap City,” an intense drama about the gritty realities of the music industry, will open in select theaters on December 13th, followed by a release on VOD. The film is a collaboration between Kyyba Films and Anchored Lens Productions.

Directed by Tel K. Ganesan, “Trap City” takes audiences on a compelling journey through fame, power, and the pursuit of redemption. The story centers on Deshawn (played by Brandon T. Jackson), a young artist striving to escape a life of violence and limited opportunities. Deshawn’s path is fraught with tough moral dilemmas, ultimately exploring the sacrifices he must make in order to overcome his circumstances.

Rapper-turned-actor Jay “Jeezy” Jenkins takes on a prominent role as Reverend Lylee, delivering a gripping performance as a character entangled in the moral complexities of the urban environment.
