The upcoming movie First Kiss, directed by Tsukahara Ayuko with an original script by Sakamoto Yuji (Monster), has unveiled its first poster and trailer. Starring Matsuzaka Keiko and featuring Matsumura Hokuto, the film tells a heartfelt story of love and second chances.
The newly released poster features a poignant image of Kuzuhara Nanao (Matsuzaka) smiling with a reflective gaze, while her husband, Kuzuhara Kakeru (Matsumura), looks up at the sky, his expression filled with longing. The tagline reads, “I fell in love with my husband from 15 years ago on that day.”
The trailer opens with a dramatic scene of Kakeru falling onto railroad tracks. After 15 years of marriage, the couple’s relationship has become strained. Just as Nanao is preparing to move on, she gains the ability to travel through time. She finds herself transported 15 years into the past, where she meets her younger husband before they ever crossed paths. This encounter rekindles her love for him, and Nanao resolves to save him from the tragic accident that will change their lives forever.
First Kiss is set to hit theaters in Japan on February 17, 2025.
