Mike Flanagan’s ‘Life of Chuck’ Sets 2025 Release Date

by Barbara Miller

The 2025 release date for “The Life of Chuck” has been announced. Adapted by Mike Flanagan from Stephen King’s work, it stars Tom Hiddleston and has a cast including Mark Hamill and others. After winning the People’s Choice Award at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival, Neon has confirmed a May 30, 2025, theatrical release, alongside “Karate Kid: Legends”.

The release date is ideal. Flanagan’s past success with King adaptations and the star-studded cast made it anticipated, and positive reviews from the festival boosted that. While it may face competition from “Karate Kid: Legends” on opening weekend, its emotional story has won audiences over, and good word-of-mouth could lead to box office success.
