Adam Scott, star of “Severance”, has spoken about the three-year delay for season 2 following the cliffhanger season 1 finale. The delay was due to factors like the 2023 SAG and WGA strikes. Season 2 is set to premiere on January 17.
Scott said season 2 picks up right where season 1 left off, promising quick answers to lingering questions and no frustrating narrative tricks. There’s pressure on the team to deliver after season 1’s intrigue, but he assures it won’t fizzle out.
What the delay means for season 2 is that despite the long wait, anticipation remains high. While the hiatus was unfortunate, it was due to industry-wide issues. Interest in resolving the mysteries and uncovering new ones hasn’t waned, and there’s optimism that season 2 will live up to expectations.
Despite the lengthy delay, the show hasn’t been forgotten, and with the premiere approaching, fans are eager to see how it continues and if it pays off the build-up from season 1.
