Republic Pictures has released the official trailer for The Millers in Marriage, a compelling family drama directed by actor Edward Burns. Scheduled to hit theaters and digital platforms on February 21, the film explores themes of marriage, fidelity, professional triumphs and failures, and the pursuit of second chances.
The official synopsis reveals a narrative centered around three middle-aged married couples as they confront fundamental questions about life and relationships. The film promises to delve into the complexities of modern marriage while offering a heartfelt look at the struggles and triumphs that come with growing older.
The trailer introduces a star-studded ensemble cast led by Julianna Margulies (ER, The Morning Show) as Maggie, Patrick Wilson (Insidious, The Conjuring) as Scott, Minnie Driver (Good Will Hunting) as Renee, and Morena Baccarin (Deadpool, Wolverine) as Tina. Other notable cast members include Benjamin Bratt (Miss Congeniality), Edward Burns (Saving Private Ryan) as Andy, Brian d’Arcy James (Spotlight), Gretchen Mol (Boardwalk Empire) as Eve, and Campbell Scott (House of Cards) as Nick.
Premiered at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival, The Millers in Marriage marks Burns’ first directorial effort in over five years, following his 2019 film Beneath the Blue Suburban Skies. Burns also stars in the film, alongside Jennifer Ehle.
The film is produced by Burns, Aaron Lubin, Ellen H. Schwartz, and Angele Victor, with Jamie Buckner serving as an executive producer. The team also includes cinematographer William Rexer and editor Janet Gaynor. The Millers in Marriage is produced under the Republic Pictures label, a subsidiary of Paramount Pictures.
