‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Trailer Set to Drop Tomorrow After Delays

by Barbara

Marvel Studios’ Daredevil: Born Again, the highly anticipated revival series, has stirred up excitement and speculation, thanks to numerous leaks circulating on the internet. Despite these leaks showcasing varying levels of footage, an official teaser from the studio has yet to be released—until now. Fans had been bracing themselves for a trailer release on Monday, but an unexpected delay caused by the California wildfires led to a pushback. Actor Vincent D’Onofrio, who reprises his role as the iconic villain Kingpin, confirmed the delay but assured fans that the first official trailer would drop soon.

Now, the Born Again official Instagram page has confirmed that the trailer will be available online tomorrow at 7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET. While some fans may suspect that the footage in the trailer will mirror the previously leaked clips, Marvel Studios’ event trailers often feature variations from the official versions that eventually make their way online.

Charlie Cox, returning as Matt Murdock (Daredevil), recently opened up about his return to the role during an interview. He revealed that, initially, there were discussions of possibly reinventing the character, making Matt a different person. However, the show ultimately opted for a continuation of the story, with much of the previous season’s dynamics carrying over. “A lot of the history follows on. The relationships and dynamics set up in the previous seasons still exist,” Cox said. “A few years have passed. In that time, Matt, Foggy, and Karen have found a pretty good rhythm. Matt’s made peace with his role both as a lawyer and a vigilante. Then, of course, shit hits the fan.”

Wilson Bethel, who reprises his role as the notorious Bullseye, also shared insights into the timeline of the new series. “The show doesn’t pick up the day after we last saw it. It picks up five years later,” Bethel explained. “These are characters who have all lived five years of life, with all of the twists and turns that come in that time. As an actor, it gives you an opportunity to bring whatever your own journey has been in that time.”

Daredevil: Born Again will see Matt Murdock fighting for justice as a blind lawyer with heightened abilities while contending with former mob boss Wilson Fisk, who now pursues his political ambitions in New York. As the two men’s past identities resurface, their paths inevitably cross.

The series also stars Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, Ayelet Zurer, and Jon Bernthal. Showrunner Dario Scardapane leads a team of directors including Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead, Michael Cuesta, Jeffrey Nachmanoff, and David Boyd. The executive producers include Marvel’s Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Sana Amanat, Chris Gary, Dario Scardapane, Christopher Ord & Matthew Corman, and Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead.

Daredevil: Born Again is slated to premiere on Disney+ on March 4, 2025, bringing the beloved vigilante back to screens in what promises to be an exciting continuation of his gritty saga.
