Fans can stream the highly anticipated film on Apple TV, YouTube Movies, Google Play, and Amazon Prime Video, with pre-orders already available on Apple TV.
The 67-minute animated musical takes viewers through the emotional and dramatic narratives of World War I, offering a captivating look at the battles and stories of the Great War. The film, inspired by Sabaton’s 10th studio album, The War To End All Wars, seamlessly blends historical accuracy with powerful storytelling, enhanced by the band’s evocative music and engaging visuals.
Created in collaboration with Yarnhub, a renowned animation studio specializing in historical narratives, The War To End All Wars – The Movie is a testament to the band’s commitment to preserving history through art. The film features animated and live-action segments, with appearances by the band members themselves.
The release is part of Sabaton’s broader History Rocks initiative, launched in 2023 to support local museums and raise awareness of historical significance. As part of the program, the band donated the film to over 140 museums worldwide, ranging from local institutions to globally recognized locations. The film’s screenings, often accompanied by events, helped engage new audiences and expand the reach of historical education.
