The Rule of Jenny Pen, a chilling new horror film praised by Stephen King, will be hitting theaters on March 7, 2025, with an at-home release via Shudder slated for later in the year.
The film, which features Geoffrey Rush and John Lithgow, tells the story of an elderly psychopath who uses a sinister hand puppet to terrorize residents at an assisted living facility. King, who called it one of the best horror films he saw last year, described the movie as “starring Geoffrey Rush, with John Lithgow as a geriatric psychopath with an evil hand puppet.”
Directed by James Ashcroft and co-written by Ashcroft and Eli Kent, The Rule of Jenny Pen follows the director’s highly acclaimed debut, Coming Home in the Dark.
