Rihanna Joins ‘Smurfs’ Movie as Star and Producer

Rihanna is making her return to the big screen in a major way. The global superstar has been cast as the voice of ‘Smurfette’ in the upcoming Smurfs movie, set to hit theaters on July 18, 2025. In addition to her on-screen role, Rihanna is also stepping into the producer’s chair, collaborating with industry heavyweights Jay Brown, Ty Ty Smith, and Ryan Harris.

The film features an all-star ensemble cast, including James Corden, Nick Offerman, Daniel Levy, Natasha Lyonne, Sandra Oh, Octavia Spencer, and Kurt Russell.
