Shawn Ashmore, known for his role in X-Men, and Garret Dillahunt from Fear the Walking Dead, lead the cast of The Huntsman, a chilling serial killer thriller based on Judith Sanders’ 2022 novel. The film will debut at the upcoming European Film Market in Berlin, with Strive Global Media representing the film for international sales.
Ashmore plays an ICU nurse who volunteers to read to a coma patient, portrayed by Dillahunt, who is suspected of brutally murdering six young women in a small southwestern town. As the investigation unfolds, Elizabeth Mitchell, famed for Lost, joins the cast as the wife of the prime suspect, grappling with the unraveling complexities of the case. Jessy Schram, known for her work on Chicago Med, plays a seasoned detective whose investigation reveals an array of potential suspects, each twist more shocking than the last.
Directed by Kyle Kauwika Harris, The Huntsman is based on a screenplay co-written by Harris and Steven Jon Whritner.
