The renowned brand, famous for shaping the landscape of horror in the mid-20th century, is embarking on a fresh slate of films aimed at both celebrating its legendary legacy and ushering in a new era of filmmaking.

For the first time in 60 years, Hammer Films is introducing an entirely new movie monster, as revealed on social media this past weekend. The upcoming film, titled Ithaqua, promises to take horror fans into the unforgiving wilderness of 1800s Canada, with director and producer Casey Walker at the helm.

Hammer Films promises a return to pure, chilling horror, stating, “This is horror as it was meant to be: terrifying and utterly unforgettable.”

With Ithaqua, Hammer Films is poised to reclaim its legacy in the world of horror, captivating a new generation of fans while honoring its rich history.
