Vertigo Releasing has just dropped the official trailer for the film, which will be available on multiple streaming platforms starting March 24, 2025. In this gripping survival thriller, vacation quickly turns to nightmare for Houston graduate Kyle and her friends, who survive a harrowing plane crash in the desolate Louisiana Bayou. Stranded in the wilderness, the group soon discovers that their nightmare is far from over. Lurking in the murky shallows of the bayou is a terrifying threat: a pack of highly evolved, prehistoric American alligators.
The alligators, apex predators perfectly adapted to their native environment, are relentless hunters, having evolved over 150 million years into near-perfect killing machines. The survivors must now face an even greater danger, as the gators thrive in an ecosystem contaminated by illegal chemicals, making them bigger, smarter, faster, and more aggressive than ever.
Directed by Taneli Mustonen and Brad Watson, Gator Creek stars Athena Strates, Elisha Applebaum, Sarah Priddy, David Newman, and Madalena Aragão. The film promises to deliver edge-of-your-seat thrills as the survivors struggle to outwit these monstrous creatures in their fight for survival.
