Amazon has announced the premiere date for its highly anticipated biblical drama series House of David, set to launch on Prime Video on February 27, 2025. The series, consisting of eight episodes, will debut with the first three episodes, followed by one new episode each week. It will be available in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.

The newly released trailer offers a glimpse into the life of David, portrayed by Michael Iskander in his breakout role, as he embarks on a journey that will lead him to confront Goliath (played by Martyn Ford) and rise to power as the future King of Israel. As the young shepherd is chosen by God and anointed by Prophet Samuel (Stephen Lang), House of David follows his dramatic rise amidst the fall of King Saul (Ali Suliman), Israel’s first monarch.

The series delves into the unraveling of King Saul’s reign, driven by his pride and insecurities, leading to a fatal clash with the anointed successor, David.
