While Tsuyoshi Kusanagi was previously confirmed to star as conductor Takaichi, the streaming giant has now revealed the complete lineup of actors joining the high-speed thriller. The film follows a tense crisis aboard the Tohoku Shinkansen Hayabusa No. 60, featuring Kanata Hosoda as conductor Fujii, Non as driver Matsumoto, Machiko Ono as House of Representatives member Kagami, Jun Kaname as entrepreneurial YouTuber Todoroki, and Hana Toyoshima as student Yuzuki Onodera. Takumi Saitoh rounds out the principal cast as Kasagi, the commanding officer overseeing emergency operations from the Shinkansen General Operation Control Center.

The newly released teaser highlights the film’s gripping premise: a high-speed train rigged with a bomb that will detonate if its speed drops below 100 km/h. The unidentified bomber demands a ransom of 100 billion yen ($660 million) in exchange for disarming the explosive, setting off a tense race against time for the train’s crew, passengers, and railway officials.

To ensure authenticity, the production collaborated with East Japan Railway Company, utilizing real bullet trains and railway facilities to bring the suspenseful narrative to life. Written by Kazuhiro Nakagawa and Norichika Oba, Bullet Train Explosion is produced by Episcope, with Kota Ishizuka serving as producer and Kensei Mori as line producer.
