Director Duncan Skiles, known for The Clovehitch Killer, is bringing a new crime thriller to the big screen. Titled Neighborhood Watch, the film will be released in theaters and on demand by RLJE Films on April 25, 2025.
The film stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Walking Dead), Jack Quaid (Novocaine), and Malin Akerman (The Final Girls), and was previously known as Nowhere Men.
Neighborhood Watch centers on Simon (Jack Quaid), a young man struggling with mental illness, who becomes convinced he has witnessed a kidnapping. When the police dismiss his claims, Simon turns to his neighbor Ed (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), a retired security guard with a troubled past. As the pair works together to uncover the truth behind the disappearance, they must confront the dark secrets surrounding it and deal with their own personal demons.
Director Skiles expressed his admiration for the film’s central relationship, saying, “I fell in love with Neighborhood Watch because of Ed and Simon’s unique bond, which Jeff and Jack brought to life with remarkable grace and skill. Our entire crew became fans of this improbable pair, creating an energy that touched every scene.”
