The Emmy®, Golden Globe®, and Critics Choice Award-winning comedy series HACKS is set to return with its highly anticipated fourth season, premiering Thursday, April 10 at 6:00 p.m. PT/9:00 p.m. ET. The season will kick off with the first two episodes, followed by one new episode each week for the next four weeks. Episodes seven and eight will air together on May 15, with episode nine following on May 22, and the season finale scheduled for May 29.
Season 4 Overview
As tensions rise, Deborah and Ava push forward with their ambitious goal of launching their late-night show while aiming to make television history in the process.
Returning Cast and New Additions
The fourth season brings back the star-studded ensemble led by six-time Emmy® winner and Tony Award® nominee Jean Smart, alongside three-time Emmy® nominee and Critics Choice Award winner Hannah Einbinder. Also returning are Paul W. Downs, Megan Stalter, Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Mark Indelicato, and Rose Abdoo, all of whom reprise their roles. They are joined by a range of talented actors, including Dan Bucatinsky, Helen Hunt, Tony Goldwyn, Kaitlin Olson, Jane Adams, Lauren Weedman, Christopher McDonald, Poppy Liu, Lorenza Izzo, Johnny Sibilly, Paul Felder, Polly Draper, Luenell, and Aristotle Athari.
In addition, the season introduces several new faces, with Julianne Nicholson, Michaela Watkins, Bresha Webb, Robby Hoffman, Eric Balfour, Danny Jolles, Gavin Matts, Grover Whitmore III, Holmes, Jasmine Ashanti, Katy Sullivan, Matt Oberg, and Sandy Honig joining the cast.

HACKS continues under the creative vision of Emmy® winners Paul W. Downs, Lucia Aniello, and Jen Statsky, who serve as the creators and showrunners. The series is executive produced by Downs and Aniello through their Paulilu Productions, with Statsky through First Thought Productions. Emmy® winners Michael Schur (Fremulon), David Miner (3 Arts Entertainment), and Morgan Sackett also executive produce. The series is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.
With an exciting new season on the horizon, HACKS promises to deliver more biting humor, emotional depth, and memorable performances when it returns to HBO Max this April.
