Greg Kinnear has been cast as a series regular in Apple TV+’s upcoming drama Margo’s Got Money Troubles, starring Elle Fanning and Michelle Pfeiffer. The show, produced by David E. Kelley and A24, is based on Rufi Thorpe’s novel and is set to explore the turbulent life of Margo Millet, played by Fanning.

The series follows Margo, the daughter of Shyanne (Pfeiffer), a Hooters waitress, and Jinx (Nick Offerman), a former pro wrestler. After a brief affair with an English professor, Mark (Michael Angarano), at the local junior college, Margo finds herself unexpectedly pregnant. At 20, struggling with unemployment and the looming threat of eviction, Margo is forced to navigate the complexities of adulthood while raising her child alone. When her estranged father, Jinx, shows up at her door and asks to move in, she agrees under the condition that he helps with childcare. In an attempt to make ends meet, Margo starts an OnlyFans account and soon finds herself applying some of Jinx’s unconventional advice from the wrestling world.
