‘Dark Matter’ Season 2 Adds Brugel and Diamantopoulos

by Barbara

Apple TV+ has announced a major cast update for the second season of its science fiction thriller Dark Matter, promoting Amanda Brugel to series regular and adding Chris Diamantopoulos to the ensemble. The new season continues to follow the gripping multiverse journey led by Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Connelly, both of whom also serve as executive producers.

Based on Blake Crouch’s best-selling novel, Dark Matter centers on Jason Dessen (Edgerton), a physicist and family man who is unexpectedly abducted into an alternate version of his life. As he navigates a complex web of realities, Dessen’s initial awe turns into terror as he struggles to return to his true family and confront the most formidable opponent imaginable: himself.
