AMC+ has officially announced the return of its crime drama Black Snow, with season two slated to premiere on April 24. The streaming service released a new trailer, offering a glimpse into the intense mysteries that await in the upcoming season.
The second season of Black Snow will consist of six episodes and stars Travis Fimmel as Detective Cormack. This season, Cormack is tasked with solving two gripping missing persons cases: one professional, involving the disappearance of Zoe Jacobs (played by Jana McKinnon) during her 21st birthday party in 2003, and another personal, as Cormack embarks on a desperate search for his own younger brother, who went missing during their childhood.
The new season introduces a stellar cast, with McKinnon, Megan Smart, Alana Mansour, Dan Spielman, Victoria Haralabidou, and Kat Stewart joining the series alongside Fimmel.
Filmed in Queensland, Australia, and set against the stunning backdrop of the Glasshouse Mountains, Black Snow is produced by Goalpost Pictures. The upcoming season is made in association with Stan and All3Media International, with financial backing from Screen Queensland, Screen NSW, and the City of Gold Coast.
Fans can catch the first two episodes of the new season on AMC+ starting April 24.
