Breaking Glass Pictures has unveiled the first trailer for Silent Partners, a gripping crime drama set to release in May 2025. Directed by Jorge “Jokes” Yanes, the film draws inspiration from real events that shaped Miami’s notorious drug wars in the 1980s.
The exclusive trailer introduces Ciro Dapagio as Valentine, a hitman trying to escape his violent past. To secure a chance at freedom, Valentine is forced into a final, perilous assignment where he must collaborate with some of his most dangerous enemies. The trailer teases intense moments as Valentine is thrust into a deadly alliance with foes who are also dealing with their own troubles.
According to the official synopsis, Silent Partners follows Valentine, a psychotic hitman who sees an opportunity to free himself by hijacking a sophisticated insurance scam orchestrated by the Chicago Outfit. As he navigates this risky venture, he is compelled to work with individuals who harbor deep animosities toward him. With enemies close and betrayal looming, Valentine’s pursuit of freedom could end in bloodshed.
Alongside Dapagio, the film features a strong supporting cast, including Antoni Corone as Kofax, Garry Pastore as Fat Dave, Ronnie Marmo as Jerry, Mike Marino as Leo, and James Russo as Franky Cutts. The film is produced by Dapagio, Yanes, Paul Grassi, Youshan Zhao, Guillermo Magana, Joe Almeida, Steven Sanders, Robert Webster, Barry Jay Minoff, Cristy Trabadass, Alex Hernandez, and Dave Iacovetti, with several of them also serving as executive producers.
Silent Partners marks another collaboration between Yanes, Dapagio, and screenwriter J. Bishop, continuing their exploration of intense, character-driven narratives. Yanes’ previous works include Eenie Meenie Miney Moe (2013), Bound (2020), and MobKing (2023).
With its high stakes and complex characters, Silent Partners promises to deliver a compelling story of crime, betrayal, and survival. Fans of intense thrillers won’t want to miss it when it hits theaters in May 2025.
