Dylan Douglas, son of Hollywood stars Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, is set to make his feature film debut in the psychological thriller I Will Come to You, produced by Cathedral Collective and Tripwire Entertainment.
The film delves deep into the complexities of the human psyche, exploring the delicate balance between attraction and danger, concealed truths, and the destructive aftermath of betrayal. Douglas takes on the lead role of Julian Marks, a character whose turbulent emotions and conflicting motivations add layers of intrigue to the narrative.
“I was drawn to this role because of its complexity and depth,” said Douglas. “I’m excited to bring this character to life and be part of a project that pushes boundaries.”
Written and directed by Jacob Arden, I Will Come to You marks a significant step in Arden’s career. Known for his music videos with artists such as Elley Duhé and his short film Sea featuring rapper Vince Staples, Arden brings a fresh and compelling vision to the screen. “This is a role that demands both restraint and raw intensity. Dylan brings a natural presence and depth that will be crucial in bringing Julian to life,” Arden remarked.
The production team is led by producers Douglas, Robert Mitas (known for Flatliners and We Have Always Lived in the Castle), and Zach Mitchell. The team has long-term plans for the project, with aspirations to expand on the film’s themes through a feature-length adaptation.
Cathedral Collective, which co-produces the film, is known for its work in developing properties for both traditional and emerging film and streaming platforms.
Filming for I Will Come to You is set to begin in 2025. Dylan Douglas is represented by UTA and Mara Entertainment.
