The movie follows the journey of Denji, a young boy with a devil’s heart, who has now become a member of Special Division 4’s elite devil hunters. The story picks up after a date with Makima, the woman of Denji’s dreams, when he seeks shelter from the rain and encounters Reze, a mysterious girl who works at a café.
Based on Tatsuki Fujimoto’s hit manga series, Chainsaw Man: The Movie – Reze Arc is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara, who previously directed two episodes of Season 1. The screenplay is penned by Hiroshi Seko.

Synopsis of the Chainsaw Man Series

However, after being betrayed and killed, Denji makes a pact with Pochita in his final moments and is resurrected as Chainsaw Man — a man transformed by the heart of a devil.
