ITN Studios, the force behind the infamous Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood & Honey, presents a new horror offering that takes a beloved childhood icon and turns it into a horrifying predator. Mouseboat Massacre, directed by Andrea M. Catinella, known for Island of the Dolls 2, is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video and Video on Demand (VOD), daring viewers to brave its unsettling narrative.
The film plunges into the nightmare of a young woman grappling with a crippling drug addiction. As her grip on reality weakens, she begins to see horrifying hallucinations—visions of a grotesque, mutated mouse-human hybrid that begins to haunt her every waking moment. These increasingly terrifying encounters blur the line between hallucination and reality, turning her already fragile life into a living hell.
With an ensemble cast that fully embraces the film’s chaotic energy, Mouseboat Massacre delivers an intense and disturbing viewing experience. Jay Robertson, famed for his role in Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare, channels a sense of frantic desperation, while Kathi DeCouto, known for War of the Worlds: The Attack, grounds the film in unsettling realism. The cast also includes Atlanta Moreno, Lauren Leppard, Victor Rios, and Natasha Tosini, who previously appeared in Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood & Honey.
Producer Rene August, recognized for Cinderella’s Curse, promises a no-holds-barred approach to the film’s gore. “This is balls to the wall mayhem,” August explains. “We’ve really gone for the gore in this movie, and audiences will be pleased with how nasty the mouse can be.” August teases a particularly gruesome death scene involving a human-sized mouse trap and a cheese grater/knife hybrid as the weapon of choice for the mutated creature.
Combining psychological horror with graphic violence, Mouseboat Massacre aims to deliver a visceral and deeply disturbing experience, taking a familiar character to terrifying extremes. Not for the faint of heart, this film is designed to shock even the most seasoned horror fans. For those seeking a truly twisted and unforgettable cinematic ride, Mouseboat Massacre is now available on Amazon Prime Video and VOD.
