Quiver Distribution has unveiled the official trailer for Restless, an indie psychological thriller from UK filmmaker Jed Hart, marking his feature directorial debut. The film premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival and will be available on VOD in the United States starting May 23, 2025.
Restless explores the tension-filled life of Nicky, a mild-mannered caregiver whose quiet existence is shattered when a group of noisy and unruly neighbors move in next door. Initially hoping that their disruptive partying was a one-off occurrence, Nicky’s polite requests for peace quickly devolve into escalating confrontations that threaten to push her over the edge.
As sleepless nights mount, Nicky finds herself pushed to the brink of insanity, contemplating extreme actions in her quest for solitude. The film examines the psychological toll of relentless noise and the lengths one woman is willing to go to reclaim her peace.
Lyndsey Marsha stars as Nicky, with Aston McAuley playing Deano, the raucous neighbor. The cast also includes Barry Ward, Kate Robbins, Denzel Baidoo, and Ciara Ford. Written and directed by Jed Hart, Restless marks his transition from short films and music videos to a full-length feature. The film is produced by Sophie Ede, Harri Kamalanathan, Jens Nielsen, Iain Simpson, and Benedict Turnbull.
The trailer, released alongside two posters, promises a gripping and intense journey, as Nicky battles to preserve her sanity in a world increasingly out of control. Will she find a way to restore peace, or will the chaos consume her?
Restless is set for its U.S. VOD release on May 23, 2025, bringing its unrelenting tension to screens across the country.
