The story follows a young boy, Li Fong, who, after a tragic family event, relocates from Beijing to New York City. There, he becomes the target of bullies. When asked how Karate Kid: Legends fits into the broader Cobra Kai universe, Entwistle expressed his excitement about the project’s connection to the series, stating:

“I’ve been a huge fan of Cobra Kai right from the beginning, and that’s one of the reasons I thought this was such an exciting project. I was thrilled about the idea that the films and the series could all be part of one family. I had some really detailed conversations with the Cobra Kai team about cool elements we could bring into the movie to make this feel like a holistic part of the universe. Ralph has been deeply involved after all those years on Cobra Kai, and every idea we discussed somehow made it into the film, either through him or the conversations we had. We’re really excited to add another piece to this ever-expanding universe.”

Fans can look forward to the release of Karate Kid: Legends, which promises to bring together new generations of martial arts enthusiasts while honoring the history of the franchise.
