As Daredevil: Born Again nears its season 1 finale, the stakes are higher than ever for Matt Murdock. In the series’ penultimate episodes, we’ve watched him confront grief, face off against Wilson Fisk, and wrestle with his identity as both a lawyer and the masked vigilante. With only two episodes remaining, Murdock’s righteous rage is pushed to new limits as corrupt cops, a serial killer, and Frank Castle’s pep talk fuel his mission.
The show reintroduced Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (The Punisher), and the original versions of Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) and Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll). Executive producer Sana Amanat and showrunner Dario Scardapane emphasized that while the series connects to the original Daredevil series, it tells its own unique story.
Set in a crime-ridden New York City, Daredevil: Born Again kicked off with a tragedy that shook Matt’s circle. As Fisk pursues his political ambitions, the battle between him and Daredevil reignites, with a new villain emerging to complicate things. Both Matt and Fisk struggle with their dual identities—Matt’s desire to leave his vigilante life behind and Fisk’s push to be seen as the city’s benevolent mayor. But their attempts to maintain these facades are on the verge of unraveling.

Season 1 has nine episodes, and fans are eagerly awaiting the next installment as the series will continue with a split release in season 2.
