Dan Trachtenberg, the visionary behind Prey, has secretly completed another Predator film, Predator: Killer of Killers, which will be released as a three-part animated anthology on Hulu in June 2025. This new film explores the Yautja warriors hunting human prey across history, with segments set in diverse time periods, including a Viking seeking revenge, a ninja in feudal Japan, and a WWII pilot battling an otherworldly threat. The film promises to expand Predator lore with innovative animation, featuring brutal action and intense storytelling.
Trachtenberg co-directed the project alongside Josh Wassung from The Third Floor, while simultaneously working on Predator: Badlands. The anthology format allows each segment to explore unique challenges for the Predator, from samurai swordfights to aerial dogfights. With a strong voice cast including Lindsay LaVanchy, Louis Ozawa, and Michael Biehn, Predator: Killer of Killers delivers on visceral, cinematic action, blending new technology and thrilling combat sequences that push the boundaries of what’s possible within the franchise.
The film will debut exclusively on Hulu on June 6th, 2025, paving the way for the Badlands entry later that year. Trachtenberg’s vision for the Predator universe is clear: to elevate the franchise to new heights by bringing fans fresh, exciting stories with compelling characters facing the ultimate killer—The Predator.
