The official trailer for Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires has been released, offering a fresh wave of supernatural drama in the beloved Zombies film series. The latest entry promises to introduce new challenges and characters while maintaining the franchise’s signature mix of adventure and musical energy.
Plot and New Characters
Zed and Addison, played by Milo Manheim and Meg Donnelly, are back. This time, the two are summer camp counselors who find themselves caught in an intense supernatural conflict between Daywalkers and Vampires. New characters, including Nova (Freya Skye), a determined Daywalker, and Victor (Malachi Barton), a proud Vampire, will stir up the drama. Meanwhile, familiar faces like Willa (Chandler Kinney) and Eliza (Kylee Russell) return to help the duo navigate this latest rivalry.
Other new cast members include Swayam Bhatia as Vera Mekonnen, Knife as Vargas, Lisa Chappell as the Vampire Eldress, Jonno Roberts as Commander Bright, and Julian Lerner as Ray.
Musical Highlights and Expanding the Universe
Directed by Paul Hoen, who helmed the previous Zombies films, Zombies 4 will feature a lively musical soundtrack. Along with two fan-favorite tracks, Someday and Ain’t No Doubt About It, the film introduces nine all-new songs, promising energetic dance sequences and unforgettable moments.
The film also broadens the Zombies universe. The story takes place the summer before Zed and Addison’s sophomore year of college, moving beyond their freshman year and Seabrook’s familiar setting. This shift opens up new possibilities for the inclusion of additional supernatural creatures, as suggested by Meg Donnelly.
