Lance Bass Hopes to Make Another NSYNC Holiday Album on the 25th Anniversary of ‘Home for Christmas’

by Barbara

NSYNC fans, rejoice! Lance Bass is eager to make another holiday album with JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, and Justin Timberlake to mark the 25th anniversary of the release of their second studio album Home for Christmas. After reuniting and releasing “Better Place” as part of the soundtrack for Trolls Band Together, Bass hopes to get back in the festive spirit with his fellow bandmates.

The boy band released Home for Christmas in 1998, a year after their self-titled debut album. Bass believes it’s NSYNC’s best album because it represents who they were, especially at the beginning, with harmonies and featured. Although he barely remembers making the everyone follow-up due to how long ago it was, Bass knows the importance of its anniversary.

Bass wants to emulate the first album’s format by having half originals and half remakes. Previously, he didn’t like the lead single off the album, “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays,” but recognizes its popularity and relevance every Christmas season. The song has grown on him over the past 25 years, just like it has become a favorite of many others.

Bass is excited to introduce Home for Christmas to his 2-year-old twin children, son Alexander and daughter Violet, so that they can enjoy it too. He intends to play it repeatedly to ensure they become NSYNC fans instead of Backstreet Boys fans. Fans eagerly await news of an upcoming holiday album from the iconic boy band.
