What happened to Joker in Dark Knight

The Joker, one of the most iconic villains in the Batman universe, made his cinematic debut in Christopher Nolan’s 2008 film, “The Dark Knight”. Played by the late Heath Ledger, the character quickly became the highlight of the film and earned Ledger a posthumous Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
